    Sexual Offense Services (SOS)

    SOS is a non-profit organization providing outreach, advocacy, and support to survivors of sexual violence and their partners, families, and friends throughout Ramsey County.  Click here to view the SOS website.

    • Their advocates listen, believe, support, accompany, offer information and referrals, and provide peer counseling to survivors of assault, past and present

    • They maintain a 24-hour crisis and support line and offer 24-hour advocacy for survivors of sexual assault and sexual abuse
        

    Sexual Assault Nurse Examination (SANE)

    Sexual Assault Nurse Examination (SANE) and Sexual Assault Forensic Examination (SAFE) programs ensure a victim will be treated by a specially trained nurse who is sensitive to his or her particular needs. It also ensures proper collection of forensic evidence, and maintains proper chain of custody issues if a case is brought to trial.
