Hamline Alumna and Adjunct Faculty Member Named 2026–27 WIDA Fellow

Agustina Victoria Borré, MA ’22, adjunct Spanish instructor at Hamline University, has been selected as a 2026–27 WIDA Fellow Educational Leader. WIDA Fellows are experienced educators of multilingual learners selected to collaborate with WIDA staff, contribute practitioner expertise to the development of resources and services, and engage in a national professional learning community. Originally from Buenos Aires, Argentina, Borré has more than 17 years of experience in education across Argentina, Uruguay, and the United States. She earned her Master of Arts in Teaching from Hamline University and has taught Spanish at Hamline since 2019. In addition to her work at the university, she serves as an Equity Advancement TOSA with Roseville Area Schools, where her work focuses on curriculum, instructional leadership, and equitable learning opportunities. Her work with multilingual learners centers on curriculum adaptation, translanguaging, bilingual education, and equitable instruction. As a WIDA Fellow, she will collaborate with educators and WIDA specialists from across the country throughout the 2026–27 academic year.  Read the announcement here
