Benegas Represents TESOL International at Mississippi's THRIVE Conference

Associate Professor Michelle Benegas traveled to Mississippi this week to present at the Mississippi Department of Education's THRIVE Conference, where she led sessions for Mississippi educators and administrators on the five federal models for Language Instruction Educational Programs (LIEPs) serving English learners. Representing TESOL International Association, Benegas brought her research and practitioner experience to bear in helping attendees understand how each model can be designed and implemented to support multilingual learners.
