As the fall 2025 One Book One Minnesota selection by the Friends of the St. Paul Public Library, Hamline is excited to host a conversation with author and Hamline Creative Writing professor emerita, Sheila O'Connor, English faculty Kris Deffenbacher, and MFA alumni/author, Mubanga Kalimamukwento. Join us for a discussion of the history of incarcerating "immoral" girls in Minnesota, the policing of reproductive rights, the purpose of sealed files past and present, and the power of archival excavation.
