Hamline is hosting a conversation about the book, Evidence of V: A Novel in Fragments, Facts, and Fiction with author and Hamline Creative Writing professor emerita, Sheila O'Connor, English faculty member Kris Deffenbacher, and MFA alumni/author, Mubanga Kalimamukwento. The event is October 28 at 7 p.m. at Sundin Hall. It is free and open to the public.
The panelists will discuss the history of incarcerating "immoral" girls in Minnesota, the policing of reproductive rights, the purpose of sealed files past and present, and the power of archival excavation.
