Anderson Center Ramp Closing

Facilities will begin a critical construction project on Monday, July 28, to replace a deteriorating storm tank located beneath the Anderson Center Ramp entrance. This tank is part of a drainage system that helps prevent flooding and pollution by managing excess rainwater runoff from impervious surfaces like roads and roofs. For everyone’s safety, the Anderson Center Ramp and its loading dock will be closed for approximately four weeks.

Deadline for removing your vehicle from Anderson Parking Ramp

The Anderson Center Ramp will close at noon on Friday, July 25. No vehicles will be able to enter or exit from that time through the end of construction. Any vehicles left in the ramp after that time will not be accessible until construction is complete. Please plan accordingly and move your vehicle before the ramp closure begins.

Parking options during construction

Permits are not required to park on any of the surface lots across campus during the summer months. Lot locations can be found on the campus map. We anticipate the ramp will re-open before the start of fall semester.

We appreciate your patience and cooperation during this time. Please reach out to Hamline Public Safety at security@hamline.edu or Facilities at facilities@hamline.edu if you have questions.
