Kathy Burleson, Senior Lecturer of Biology, was elected by the membership to serve as the Central Region Director of the Human Anatomy and Physiology Society (HAPS) beginning July 1st. In her two-year term, Burleson will be a voting member of the Board of Directors, be a liaison to several standing committees, serve as member of the Welcoming and Belonging Committee, and represent HAPS members in eight states and two Canadian provinces.
