Mohamed '25 Presents at Annual APS CUWiP 2024

Fadhimah Mohamed 25 showcased her research at the American Physical Society Conference for Women in Undergraduate Physics held at Boston College from January 19th to January 21st. Her presentation focused on the thermal analysis of lithium-ion batteries using computational fluid dynamics. Throughout the three-day conference, Fadhimah actively participated in insightful workshops and engaging panel discussions, featuring talks from esteemed Nobel Prize winners and CERN researchers. The APS CUWiP's regional conference, spanning three days, plays a crucial role in supporting undergraduate women in pursuing physics. Fadhimah gained insights into graduate school and various physics professions, and connected with women in physics across different age groups.
