Favorite College Activity: I was a junior counselor in college, which is a similar role to a resident assistant. I lived in a residence hall with new first-year students, organizing social events and providing advice and support as they made the transition to college life. Living on campus is such a formative experience for first-year students. I made lifelong friends because of this experience!

Interesting Fact About Me: I grew up in Montana, have lived in the Pacific Northwest, and now am happy to call Minnesota home. I love spending time outside as much as possible!

Favorite Place to Go in the Hamline-Midway Neighborhood: I love spending time at Groundswell, one of our local coffee shops. Their banana bread is a favorite treat—it can't be beat!

Why I Love Hamline: I appreciate the fact that we are committed to experiential education—100%! The opportunity to apply what you are learning in the classroom to a real life experience, whether that be an internship, a study abroad adventure, or a research project, is priceless. Hamline integrates these experiences into the curriculum, providing numerous growth opportunities for our students.
