Favorite College Activity: One of my favorite experiences as a Hamline student was serving as a Transfer New Student Mentor through New Student Programs. In this role, I had the privilege of guiding new transfer students through their first semester on campus. I was actively involved in Summer Orientation and Registration (SOAR), Fall and Spring Orientation, and of course, the famous Piper Boogie! As a transfer student myself, my New Student Mentor was a valuable resource during my first semester at Hamline, and I saw this as an opportunity to give back to the community that welcomed me.

Interesting Fact About Me: I am a former transfer student. I started at Inver Hills Community College, where I earned an A.A. in History, before transferring to Hamline University to pursue Social Studies Education.

Favorite Place to Go in the Hamline-Midway Neighborhood: As a huge Minnesota sports fan, my favorite place to go in the Hamline-Midway Neighborhood is Allianz Field, home of Minnesota United F.C. The atmosphere on game days is so electric, and singing “Wonderwall” after a victory is always special! While you're in the area, check out the Loon statue at the corner of Snelling and University! It's become an iconic landmark that perfectly captures the local love for the team! Cuz Maybe… COYL!

Why I Love Hamline: One of the many reasons I love Hamline is its unwavering commitment to community and diversity. This dedication promotes an inclusive environment where students from all backgrounds can thrive and learn from one another. Throughout my journey here, first as a student and now as a staff member, I have always felt welcomed and valued.
