Alice Paige is a transgender educator, organizer, and activist from Chicago, Illinois. She is an instructor with the Minnesota Prison Writing Workshop. Her writing centers on the transformative power of queer joy, the futures we have yet to imagine, and the years we have traversed to reach one another. She is a recipient of the MRAC Next Step Fund Grant. Her work can be found in American Precariat; the winner of the Washington State Book Award for Poetry Take a Stand, Art Against Hate, A Raven's Chronicle Anthology; Freezeray Poetry; The Rumpus; Water~Stone Review; and plenty of other strange journals.
