
Abbie Sundich is a security dispatcher at Hamline University. In this position, she serves as the first point of contact in the Public Safety Office, and is responsible for daily departmental duties such as answering emergency and non-emergency calls, printing Hamline ID cards, securing lost and found items, managing electronic lock and key systems, and monitoring CCTV cameras. She enjoys the opportunity to work with students, staff, and faculty.
Sundich graduated summa cum laude from Hamline in 2024, with a bachelor’s degree in English and communications with a writing, editing, and publishing concentration. As a student, she entered Hamline with both her high school diploma and her associate’s degree, having participated in the PSEO program. She was involved with the Residential Hall Association (RHA) as an executive board member, and contributed her writing and photography to both the Fulcrum and Untold Magazine. She also joined the Piper Academic Association (PAC) as a first-year student.
Sundich is currently pursuing a master’s degree in leadership in student affairs at the University of Saint Thomas, wanting to utilize her passion for campus life and operations. She enjoys reading, writing, photography, and loving her two cats, Coco and CeCe.
