Stephen Simusa (he/him/his) is a career counselor for the Career Development Center. He received his BA from the University of Iowa, and both Masters in Counseling and Educational Specialist degrees from Florida State University. In his role, he meets with students and alumni to explore their interests and values, assist with job/internship searching, and help individuals feel confident about career in general!
A couple of fun facts about Stephen are that he previously worked as a classical musician and band instrument repairman before becoming a counselor, and that he is the 2019 Hungry Hungry Hippos World Champion (just ask him about it!). While he still frequently participates in music and theater, Stephen is here to help with any and all career-related needs. Come visit him in Drew Science 113 to eat candy, play games, and talk about career!
