The University Women's Chorale and Hamline Wind Ensemble share a Spring Concert on Sunday, April 27 at 2 pm in Sundin Music Hall on the Hamline University campus.  The concert is free and open to the public.

The Women's Chorale program features a piece by Eric Whitacre, a piece composed by Chorale member, Danielle Jagelski, Sacred Harp tunes, and an Appalachian-style folk song.   Instrumentalists collaborating with the Chorale include Eva Coon, violin, Mark Seerup, English horn, and the Hamline Jug Band, a motley but talented crew from the Provost's office, Sundin Music Hall staff, and music department faculty.
The Hamline Wind Ensemble will perform an entertaining program of Dixieland tunes, ragtime, a Fiddler on the Roof medley and a mash up of cartoon music.  A premiere of a new march by Mitch Manthe and the re-discovery of the Fort Snelling March by Emil Straka round out the program.
