• 2016/17 Higher Learning Commission Accreditation

Hamline University is accredited by the Higher Learning Commission (HLC), a regional agency that accredits degree-granting institutions when they meet a set of established standards. Hamline’s most-recent reaffirmation of accreditation was 2007/08 academic year and its next scheduled reaffirmation of accreditation is the 2017/18. To prepare for this accreditation visit, the provost’s office established a committee structure to support a comprehensive assessment of our institution and programs, with a kick-off presentation in October 2016 to introduce the university community to these efforts. The university then submitted its comprehensive assessment, the "assurance argument," to HLC for their review. An itinerary for the accreditation visit on December 4 and 5, 2017 by the team of seven peer reviewers is being developed.
