• 2016/17 Higher Learning Commission Accreditation

    Hamline University is accredited by the Higher Learning Commission (HLC), a regional agency that accredits degree-granting institutions when they meet a set of established standards. Hamline’s most recent reaffirmation of accreditation was 2007/08 academic year and its next scheduled reaffirmation of accreditation is the 2017/18 academic year. The provost’s office has established a committee structure supports a comprehensive assessment of our institution and programs; a kick-off presentation is scheduled for October 2016 to introduce the university community to the work plan to prepare for our accreditation visit in December 2017.     Notice from Hamline University

    Hamline University is seeking comments from the public about the school in preparation for its periodic evaluation by its regional accrediting agency.  Hamline University will host a visit December 4, 2017 with a team representing the Higher Learning Commission (HLC).  Hamline University has been accredited by HLC since 1914.  The team will review the institution’s ongoing ability to meet HLC’s Criteria for Accreditation.

    Comments must address substantive matters related to the quality of the institution or its academic programs.  Comments must be in writing.
