• Higher Learning Commission Accreditation

Hamline University is accredited by the Higher Learning Commission (HLC), a regional agency that accredits degree-granting institutions when they meet a set of established standards. Hamline’s most-recent reaffirmation of accreditation was confirmed by the HLC at its February 13, 2018 meeting. Following submission of a university-authored report and a successful visit of peer accreditors in early December 2017, HLC concluded Hamline successfully met all five criteria for accreditation without interim monitoring.  The next visit of the HLC will be in ten years with the Reaffirmation of Accreditation in 2027-28.
