Dr. Lang presents at Relationships Conference

Dr. Jessica C. Lang, Assistant Professor of Psychology, presented her research at the International Association of Relationship Research (IARR) at their 2026 conference in Glasgow, Scotland. The presentation was titled "Impact of Partner's Attachment on Outcomes of Co-rumination".  IARR brings together scholars, educators, practitioners, and professionals from all fields and disciplines who share in the scientific study of personal and social relationships. Every two years, IARR members gather from around the globe to share research, discuss the state of the field, network, collaborate, and more.  Dr. Lang's presentation examining partner effects of attachment and co-rumination was part of a lager symposium on rumination and attachment. Dr. Lang was also a collaborator on several other presentations at the conference, including "Examining the association between self-reported and physiological measurements of challenge and threat" and "Cognitive reappraisal in context: Effects on the association between intimate partner violence and responsiveness".
