Religion Professor Mark Berkson gave a lecture and led a workshop on "Lessons from Chinese Religions: How Confucianism, Daoism, and Buddhism Can Enhance Our Lives" at the Eastside College Preparatory School in California. Prof. Berkson has worked for five years with the students at Eastside, a school that focuses on readying first-generation students from low-income families to attend and succeed in 4-year colleges.
