Rebecca Neal, Professor of Educational Foundations and Director of the Center of Excellence in Urban Teaching at Hamline University has received a grant through the Minnesota Department of Education, reinforcing the commitment to advancing educators and educational leadership. In this endeavor, Hamline University has been awarded over $400,000.00, which will help expand access to high-quality education and professional growth opportunities for educators across our community. The hallmark of this grant will provide direct funding to students and offer mentorship programming. Seventy-five percent of received funds will provide direct tuition scholarships to students. This is in addition to the million dollars she received during 2024-25. We celebrate Rebecca’s achievement and the continued investment in teaching and learning at Hamline.
