Fatoumata (Fatou) Jaiteh (she/her) is the Area Coordinator for Drew Hall at Hamline University. She's all about community, connection, and creating spaces where people feel seen, supported, and encouraged to grow into their best selves. A proud first-generation college graduate, Fatou earned her bachelor's degree in psychology and sociology from Concordia University, Saint Paul, in May 2025.

She's passionate about relationship-building and believes real impact starts with genuine connection. She is dedicated to ensuring that everyone feels a sense of belonging. Mental well-being and authenticity are huge to her, and she's always intentional about showing up for others with care and understanding.

After living in New York for a bit, Fatou brings a little bit of East Coast energy with a whole lot of Midwest calm. Personality-wise, she's the chill girl in the personality party, adventurous, grounded, and always down for good energy and spontaneous moments. You'll honestly never catch her not laughing, and she's known for bringing joy wherever she goes. She loves exploring new places, catching a vibe, making mini vlogs that'll probably never leave her camera roll (but always capture the moment perfectly), and her love for Crocs.

Looking ahead, Fatou will continue her education in social work and mental health, with plans to pursue a master's degree focused on youth advocacy, emotional wellness, and accessible support systems.

When she's not in Drew Hall, you'll probably find her watching her favorite shows, hanging out with friends, taking trips, or just doing something that fills her cup. Fatou's all about enjoyment, growth, and finding beauty in the little things.
