Craig Hara is a multifaceted musician, educator and producer, playing Trumpet, Drums, Percussion, EVI (Electronic Valve Instrument), Guitar, Bass, Keyboards/Synthesizers and Vocals. He holds degrees from the California Institute of the Arts, and is on faculty at the University of Wisconsin at River Falls, and Hamline University.

Craig can be heard on recordings and in live performance with various artists and groups (the La Crosse Symphony, the Santa Barbara Chamber Orchestra, the Asia America Symphony, the Bach Society, the Minnesota Orchestra, the South Dakota Symphony, the Minnesota Opera, VocalEssence, and many others). He has contributed on scores for motion pictures and television (Solstice, The Legend of EarthSea, NetForce, Chicago Hope, High Incident, Face/Off, Time Cop, Speechless, Death Wish IV). Craig has also performed internationally in Japan, and Europe with many of the world's most eminent musicians.

Those studying with Mr. Hara can expect to address any and all aspects of their playing, with the goal of making them a more valuable musician in any musical situation.
