Cassondra Thornton

Coordinator of Orientation and New Student Programs

Cassondra Thornton (she/her) is the Coordinator for Orientation and New Student Programs, responsible for coordinating summer and fall orientation for incoming first-year and transfer students. In partnership with the Center for Academic Success and Achievement, Cassondra helps with the Campus Colleague program for First-Year Seminar Classes; she also assists with new student-specific programming, including initiatives to help new students transition into their life at Hamline University. Cassondra earned a bachelor of arts degree in communication studies and East Asian studies at Hamline University, and a master’s of education in student affairs in higher education from Marquette University. In her free time, Cassondra enjoys traveling, boating, and playing volleyball.
