Fall Symposium and Spring Showcase Events

Present your research and creative work
Spring event: Hamline Showcase for Student Research and Creative Inquiry in the Classroom
This fun and exciting event highlights the amazing research, creative inquiry, and community-engaged work that Hamline faculty and students do in their classrooms. The Hamline SCUR program follows the Council on Undergraduate Research in defining undergraduate research as “a mentored investigation or creative inquiry conducted by undergraduates that seeks to make a scholarly or artistic contribution to knowledge.” Faculty and student scholars from a variety of disciplines were invited to apply. See the range of research and disciplines in the 2025 Spring Showcase program booklet.
Any student who conducted a research, creative inquiry, or community-engaged project as a part of either a course or as individual/independent study at Hamline during the current academic year could take part. Projects could be undertaken by individuals, or as part of a team. Students of every field and level are welcome, from humanities to natural sciences, from fine arts to social sciences, from education to business — and beyond!
Annual fall event: Hamline Interdisciplinary Student Research and Creative Inquiry Symposium
