Want to prepare the Hamline community to Step UP! to problematic behaviors? Join us January 11 from 12-2 pm in the Center for Justice and Law (West Hall 240) for training in Hamline’s new bystander intervention program, Step UP! During the session you’ll learn strategies to proactively help others in both emergency and non-emergency situations. You can sign up for the free training here: https://goo.gl/forms/psna6XqB8Q7SXrjq1.

Want to Step UP! further and help educate your peers while making some extra money? Then become a Step UP! trainer! Join us for Step UP! training of trainers sessions on January 11 and January 18 from 12-4 pm in the Center for Justice and Law (West Hall 240). If you complete both sessions and fulfill training requirements you will be eligible for a $50 payment. Students trained as trainers also will have the opportunity to apply for a paid Step UP! coordinator position for the 2019-2020 school year.
