    The Minnesota Annual Conference of the United Methodist Church published an article discussing the Exploring Leadership Internship (ELI) Project, a new Minnesota conference initiative which allows college students exploring a call to vocational ministry to experience hands-on learning at a host church. Hamline religious studies student Lee Miller was featured in the article. Miller will begin his internship at Uptown Church this summer.

    Wheelock United Methodist Church in St. Paul received a state-wide award in recognition of its unique partnership with Hamline University. The President's Community Partner Award is given to a community-based organization that has enhanced the quality of life in the community.
