    All members of the university community are invited to join the NCORE Team for a day-long exploration of race, race relations, racism and racial justice. During the Mini-Conference, we will create a diverse learning community that explores the impact racism continues to have in our individual lives, relationships, and communities. Of particular interest this year will be a focus on race in St. Paul.  As in the past, participants will hear from speakers and have opportunities in both large group and small group discussions and activities to:

    • Think about their own assumptions, experiences and identities;
    • Engage in self-reflection and conversation with others about race and racism; and
    • Learn strategies for resisting, interrupting and liberating ourselves from oppression.

    If you are interested in participation, please visit https://tinyurl.com/2019NCOREMini-Conference before Wednesday, January 23 when registration closes.
