Major Exploration Night is a great opportunity for students who are undecided about their major, or who are interested in learning how they might apply their major in a future career.

On the evening of Tuesday, October 16, students have the opportunity to visit open houses hosted by every department on campus. Students will be able to speak with Hamline alumni, faculty, and students about what drew them to their particular area of study, and get their questions answered. Students will not only gain a better understanding of the majors offered at Hamline: they can also make important connections with members of the Hamline community.

First-year and transfer students: You will have the opportunity to take an assessment called the SuperStrong. This short, interest-based assessment provides information about where your interests overlap with major and career options, and it can guide your exploration of majors and open houses on October 16. You will receive information from your FYsem instructor or the Career Development Center with more information on how to take this assessment.
