Spring Celebration at CHS Field

CHS Field Main

The Hamline community is warmly invited to a free university-wide spring celebration at CHS Field in downtown Saint Paul on Friday, May 6 at 4 p.m. CHS Field is the home of Piper Baseball and the Saint Paul Saints. Cheer on our Pipers as they take on Bethany Lutheran on the best field in the MIAC! The Hamline University Programming Board (HUPB) is donating 27 Metro Transit passes for students who want a free ride on the light rail or bus to CHS Field. Tickets are available on a first-come-first-served basis at Anderson Center front desk starting at 8 a.m. on Friday, May 6.

Admission is free so bring your family and friends and join in the fun with your fellow students, faculty, and staff. You won’t want to miss President Fayneese Miller throw out the ceremonial first pitch or the ballpark food, music, in-game promotions, and some surprises. While the activities listed above will take place during the 4 p.m. game, the second game starts at 6 p.m. and that is open to the Hamline community as well. Come when you can! You can find information on taking Metro Transit buses or light rail to the game as well as driving directions and parking information on the CHS Field website

As the academic year comes to a close, this is also an opportunity to recognize some of the many achievements of our community and the people who make a difference at Hamline. If there is a student, staff or faculty member, office or group you would like to be recognized on the large video screen at CHS Field, please the name of the person or group, their Hamline affiliation (office or school), achievement, and who is recognizing them to inside@hamline.edu by Tuesday, May 3 at 5 p.m. You can email any questions to Inside Hamline as well.

See you at the game! #GoHU
