Dong Chaired Academic Conference in China

Professor and the Emma K. and Carl R. N. Malmstrom Endowed Chair in Physics Lifeng Dong organized and chaired the 2018 Academic Conference on Nanoscale Energy and Devices held in Qingdao, China from August 18–20. Dong also delivered a keynote lecture titled “Graphene-Based Nanocomposites for Energy Conversion and Storage."

Dong currently works with his collaborators and undergraduate students to design, synthesize, fabricate, and characterize nanoscale materials and devices —including solar cells, fuel cells, supercapacitors, and lithium batteries— for energy conversion and storage, as well as water purification and desalination.
