2018 Diversity Research Awards

Applications and nominations are now open for the 2018 Diversity Research Award and the Diversity Undergraduate Summer Collaborative Research Grant through Hamline's Diversity Initiatives. The deadlines for submissions on these two programs are March 9 and March 2 respectively.

Since 2010, the Office of Multicultural and Diversity Initiatives and Bush Library have collaborated on the Hamline Diversity Award given annually to an undergraduate student who demonstrates excellent facility with scholarly research materials to produce a project on a diversity topic. Student(s) receiving this award are recognized on Honors Convocation each year and are awarded a cash prize. The nomination guideline can be found online

Diversity Initiatives has offered summer collaborative research grants since 2014 for undergraduate students and faculty who want to work together on diversity related research in any discipline(s) which concerns student life, civic/community engagement, academic engagement, inclusive excellence in leadership, scholarship and service in higher education. Applications are available online.
