Dean of Students Office Seeking Translators

The Dean of Students Office is seeking volunteer translators to better serve our students. The office is seeking individuals from all backgrounds, included but not limited to Spanish, Somali, Arabic, Sign, and Hmong.

On various occasions families request someone to assist them to help better understand the the university system and process and procedures that are in place. The Dean of Students Office is putting a call out to staff and faculty who would be interested in assisting when needed. There is no official time commitment required and volunteers can decline a request to assist based on their availability.

By submitting your contact information, you are simply informing the Dean of Students Office of your interest. When needed, a call will be put out to see who might be available.

The first request has been submitted from a Spanish speaking family for Piper Preview June 13-14. If you are interested in assisting please contact Javier Gutierrez and complete the online form.

If you have any further questions please contact Javier Gutierrez.
