Kimberly Feilmeyer (HULA), Caroline Hilk (CTL), Nicole Nelson (ITS), Kristofer Scheid (HULA), and Tracy Williams (IE) presented at the International Active Learning Forum at the University of Minnesota this month. The presentation given by Feilmeyer, Hilk, Nelson, and Williams, "If we build it they will learn, right? Collaborative evaluation of Active Learning Classrooms," was held in an active learning classroom in Bruininks Hall, the University's largest active learning facility. This conference focused on advancing practice and research on active learning classroom spaces in higher education.

Hilk, Nelson, Feilmeyer, and Williams presented a paper on their evaluation of Hamline's active learning classrooms. Feilmeyer and Scheid presented a demonstration, "Framing the first year one-shot session in an active learning classroom" on the librarians' first-year seminar introduction to information literacy. Feilmeyer also facilitated a roundtable session, "ALCs and information literacy across the curriculum: Using one to promote the other".
