Bosley Presents on Pyramid Schemes

Stacie Bosley, associate professor of economics, presented a paper titled "Decision-making and vulnerability in pyramid scheme fraud" at the Southern Economic Association Conference in Tampa, Florida. The paper presents findings of an economic experiment that explored consumer decision-making and correlates of fraud vulnerability. The experiment was supported by funding from Hamline's Center for Justice and Law and was conducted in collaboration with the University of Minnesota at the Minnesota State Fair with research assistance from Hamline undergraduate students.
