    MN Dept of Education Grant received by Hamline Science Teachers

    The Center for Global Environmental Education (CGEE) in the School of Education was awarded a second grant of $457,000 from the Minnesota Department of Education's Math and Science Partnership Program to continue its innovate work in science teacher training. This brings the total grant amount for this two-phase project to $907,000.

    Robert Green Thumb

    The university received a generous $1.4 million endowed gift from Hamline alumnus Robert Green '57, MALS '96. The gift will establish the Robert E. Green Distinguished Professorship in Computational Science Fund to help prepare future Hamline students to meet the challenges of rapidly-evolving technology.

    Undergrad Research at NCUR

    A group of 36 Hamline students are in Memphis, Tennessee to present their collaborative research at the 31st annual National Conference on Undergraduate Research (NCUR). Students present original research with topics spanning across a variety of disciplines and programs, from social justice to business, and biology to history.

    ELM Project Grant

    A $1.5 million grant from the United States Department of Education will bolster the already impressive work the Hamline School of Education undertakes to train all teachers to work with English learners with the the English Learners in the Mainstream (ELM) Project.

    Colloquium is an annual event that features some of the best critical and creative work done by our graduate students from the previous academic year. Presenters will take you through their processes of creating a final capstone project.

    9 - 10 a.m.

    The A Cappella Choir, directed by Prof. G. Chu, will perform in Rochester, MN on Sunday, October 1st at Christ United Methodist Church for the 9:00 a.m. service.
