McKeage Presents Research

In June, Hamline School of Business Associate Professor Kim McKeage presented three papers at two marketing conferences on two different continents. At the Conference on Historical Analysis and Research in Marketing in Copenhagen, Denmark, McKeage presented her research on the effect of advertising for beauty products on the creation and continuation of beauty stereotypes of African-American women, as well as her research analyzing product placement in U.S. cookbooks in the period from 1955 to 1980. At the 38th Annual Macromarketing Conference in Toronto, Canada, she presented a third paper entitled A Tale of Two Food Systems that she co-authored with 2013 Hamline graduate Emma Schroeder.
