Teaching Style

Students taking a class with Professor Parritz will learn a range of academic and clinical approaches to understanding the emergence, presentation, and treatment of psychopathology across the lifespan. Students will be challenged to develop more complex ways of thinking about children, disorders, and development, and to consider interdisciplinary perspectives on risk and resilience.

“I want students to learn and appreciate the science of clinical psychology. I want students to be well-prepared to work with struggling children and adults. And I want students to experience personal and professional fulfillment as they do meaningful, important work.”
