Teaching Style

Deborah is a firm believer of learning by doing. She believes that every student is an individual, with their own unique instrument. The challenge is in equipping each student with the tools needed to improve their singing. She does this through vocal exercises, appropriate repertoire, and close monitoring of their vocal production. A healthy vocal production is crucial and provides a solid foundation that enables a student to perform any style of music.

"The voice is a wonderful instrument! I enjoy helping every student move forward in the journey of training the unique vocal instrument they possess. A healthy technique is of utmost importance to me." - Deborah Carbaugh
