Biography
Manee Yang serves as the Multicultural Student Programs Coordinator of the Hedgeman Center for Student Diversity Initiatives and Programs at Hamline University. Manee’s vital role is to support, empower, and promote the success of all students with particular attention to students of color and indigenous students, first generation college students and other students from historically marginalized backgrounds. In addition to supporting individual students, Manee will also focus on supporting culturally and identity based student organizations and creating diversity and inclusion programming that supports the mission, vision and initiatives of the Hedgeman Center events and activities.
Manee earned her Bachelor’s degree in Mass Communication--Public Relations studies at the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire, and a Master’s degree in Student Affairs Administration from University Wisconsin-La Crosse.
