Artaria String Quartet: Folk Songs

Description

"Folk Songs" is a collection from three historic composers. Florence Price was a mid-20th century Black composer whose music has been rediscovered. Haydn is considered the "father" of the string quartet form. Bela Bartók's 1934 quartet is a preview of the Bartók cycle that Artaria will perform in January 2024.
