  • Bullying Prevention Certificate Curriculum

    Take any course(s) individually or enroll in the certificate program.  A detailed planner with course descriptions and scheduling information is available in the certificate planner.

    Required Courses: (10 credits)

    • EDUC 7140: Foundations of Bullying Prevention (3 credits)
    • EDUC 7141: Bystander Behavior and Bullying Prevention (2 credits)
    • EDUC 7142: LGBT and Gender-Based Bullying (2 credits)
    • EDUC 7143: Cyber Bullying (2 credits)
    • EDUC 7145: Final Synthesis Bullying Prevention Certificate (1 credit)

    Note: If you intend to complete the certificate, students should enroll in Foundations of Bullying Prevention first and complete their course work with the Final Synthesis course.

    Make Your Credits Count

    Your coursework in the Bullying Prevention Certificate may be applied to fulfill some or all of the elective requirements in the following programs: Master of Arts in Education (MAEd), MAEd in Natural Sciences and Environmental Education, or Master of Arts in Literacy Education.
