• Take the lead to serve all learners.

Autism is the fastest growing developmental disability in Minnesota. With increasing numbers of ASD learners in our schools, it is crucial that teachers possess the skills necessary to provide them with quality intervention and instruction. Hamline has been educating teachers and leaders in ASD for more than 16 years and has enhanced its coursework to reflect the new ASD competencies.

With an additional license in autism spectrum disorder from Hamline, you will:

    • Work with faculty who are both nationally and internationally recognized in the field.
    • Gain practical knowledge based on current research and best practices that can immediately impact student learning.
    • Build your confidence and enhance your skills in areas such as assessment, teaching strategies, and behavior management with an up-to-date and engaging curriculum.
