    Major Requirements

    Two semesters of colloquium

    Five elective courses

    Students must take five elective courses, at least two of which must be at the 3000-level.

    At least three electives must be in a "primary area", either Christianity/Biblical Religions or Asian Religions, and at least one elective must focus on a tradition outside of the primary area. Students should consult with their religion advisor when planning elective choices.

  • Law School Early Admission (3-3) Option

    Students seeking to enter law school may pursue this major through the Law School Early Admission (3-3) Program. If interested, meet with the Religion Department Chair and a Legal Studies faculty member by the end of your first year at Hamline.
