    The winners of the 2021 Minnesota Book Awards were announced Thursday, April 29, 2021 at the 33rd Annual Celebration put on by The Friends of the Saint Paul Public Library. Members of Hamline's creative writing community took home two of the night's big awards.

    Hot Pink, a new show from Amazon Studios in association with Annapurna Pictures, was loosely inspired by Elana K. Arnold’s National Book Award finalist "What Girls Are Made Of."

    Angela Pelster-Wiebe, a professor who teaches nonfiction writing in the Creative Writing Program, is one of four Minnesotans to receive a 2021 McKnight Artist Fellowship for Writers Loft Award for Creative Prose.
