• Hamline University Honors Application Guide

    Thank you for applying to pursue University Honors!

    University Honors applications are due twice a year, in early December and late April.

    The University Honors application is a Google Form. You will need to sign in with your Hamline email address to access the form. You will not be able to save and return to the application once you have begun.

    There is some logistical information you will need for the application. You will need to enter:

    • Your name
    • Your student ID number
    • The name of your academic advisor
    • Your declared majors/minors/certificates
    • Your intended but undeclared majors/minors/certificates
    • The number of semesters you have completed by the end of the current semester
    • The number of credits you have completed by the end of the current semester
    • The number of semesters remaining by the end of the current semester
    • The number of credits remaining by the end of the current semester

    University Honors is organized around four pillars: Academic Excellence, Research Experience, Contributions to Community, and Development of the Self as a Lifelong Learner. Student must achieve in all four pillars. In your application, you will be asked to explore and describe two ways you might fulfill each pillar.
