MBA Students Complete Capstone Projects

A group of Hamline School of Business (HSB) Master of Business Administration (MBA) students concluded their summer capstone session with competitive presentations to senior management at Renodis Telecom and Mobility Management.

After a summer of research and analysis, the students presented their recommendations for pathways for future company growth to members of the leadership team of this already highly successful company. The executives chose the strategy proposed by Albert Aflakpi, Harun Dogan, Kyle Marek-Spartz, Amanda Hanson, and Leon Tan as the winner.

Renodis made an ideal business partner for the capstone course according to HSB Lecturer and Leadership Curriculum Coordinator Peggy Andrews.

“Renodis is established within a complex industry and are facing a strategic challenge,” said Andrews. “These students have had the opportunity to put their MBA education into practice in a highly relevant business context.”

Hamline students met with the Renodis leadership team members twice during the summer and the presentations marked the end of their capstone experience.

"Being given the trust of the company was a humbling experience, and one where we pulled out all of our tools to drive forward the best possible strategic road map," said Hanson.
