Peace & Appreciation Garden

Join Environment & Climate Studies, the Center for Justice and Law, and Hamline Sustainability for Alumni Earth Week Meet Up at the Garden! The event will take place at the Peace & Appreciation Garden (north of East Hall, behind Bush Memorial Library, and south of Lot B). We cannot wait to see you there!

Volunteer this summer to help us maintain the Hamline Peace and Appreciation Garden and MicroFarm! There is an opportunity to join us Wednesday, April 24, 2024 from 4:30-5:30 p.m. in the MicroFarm and Thursday, April 25, 2024 from 4:45-5:15 at the Peace & Appreciation Garden to learn more in-person. Also, email us at cjl@hamline.edu with any questions or to volunteer your time. Additionally, there may be a stipend available for students who wish to manage the gardens this summer.

The HU Wind Ensemble goes to the movies for our spring concert April 27! Come hear thrilling, iconic tunes from Pirates of the Caribbean and Star Wars! Dance in your seats to Leonard Bernstein's hits from West Side Story, Candide and On The Town. Holst's Jupiter from the Planets and Grieg's March of the Trolls round out a very colorful and uplifting program! Free and open to the public.

The Criminal Justice and Forensic Science Department Senior Capstone students will present a series of infographics addressing pressing contemporary issues in the field that are related to their experiences in an intensive, semester-long internship at criminal justice, forensic science, and social organizations. Members of the internship organizations will be in attendance along with members of the Hamline community. We invite you to explore these issues through the final work of seniors in the Criminal Justice and Forensic Science Department. You may come and go as you are able (drop-in). Light refreshments will be served.
