
Department of Studio Arts & Art History Funding for Travel
Study Abroad or United States Travel Study
The Department of Studio Arts and Art History has select funding available to help support travel initiatives of declared majors in Art History or Studio Arts. Travel may be for study abroad opportunities at Hamline partner institutions or at other institutions, museums, and/or archives abroad and in the United States. Award amounts tend to range fro $1500-$3000.
Proposals from students are reviewed in (March/April) each year for the following summer and academic year. For more information about these select funds, you are encouraged to connect with your Adviser in the Department and/or the Department Chair. Students planning to study abroad should also connect with the Study Abroad Office.

Ann Gerard is a Junior at Hamline University spending the Spring 2015 semester abroad in Florence, Italy with funding support provided by the Department of Studio Arts & Art History at Hamline University. She will be attending Florence University of the Arts and APICIUS International School of Hospitality program for Business, Hospitality, Design & Liberal Arts.
