    2021: The Princeton Review

    The Princeton Review named Hamline's Master in the Study of Law among its list of "Best Online Master of Studies in Law Programs" for 2021.

    2021: U.S. News & World Report

    Once again, Hamline University performed very well in annual rankings compiled by U.S. News & World Report.

    Hamline ranked first among Minnesota's 13 regional universities and tied for 15th place among all Midwest regional universities. Hamline also earned the following regional distinctions:

    #6 in Most Innovative Schools (#2 in Minnesota)
    #9 in Best Colleges for Veterans (#1 in Minnesota)
    #14 in Best Value Schools (#1 in Minnesota)
    #15 in Best Undergraduate Teaching (#2 in Minnesota)
    #22 in Top Performers in Social Mobility (#2 in Minnesota)

    2021: LendEdu

    Hamline was named a "Most Affordable Schools for Incoming Freshmen with Financial Need" by LendEdu.com, which provides free tools and resources for higher education financing.

    2020:Washington Monthly

    Hamline was listed in Washington Monthly’s “Top 40 Master’s Universities” in September 2020, scoring 36th nationwide in its class and first in Minnesota.

    Additionally, Hamline has again been named by the publication as a "Best Bang for the Buck: Midwest" school.

    2019: ALLIN challenge

    Hamline was recognized by the national ALL IN Student Democracy Challenge as having the highest voting percentage at a private four-year institution in the United States. Hamline takes its obligation to produce future leaders very seriously and this is reflected by excellent student participation in the public process.
