Canvas Magazine

Canvas tells the life stories of the Hamline community, including students, staff, faculty members, and alumni. The magazine emphasizes the uniqueness and diversity within and beyond campus. Canvas encompasses multiple mediums of expression such as journalistic writing, nonfiction writing, visual arts, and photography.

Originally known as Pipers In-Depth when founded in 2016, now Canvas Magazine supports students in gaining skills in reporting and feature writing, photography, design, and leadership. Staff collaborate to assemble a theme for each issue and review one another's contributions to the publication.
