Adobe and Hebrew

I recently tried to save a file with Hebrew in it in Adobe.pdf format, but 
the resulting file had question marks instead of Hebrew characters.  I 
clicked the embed fonts option and no luck.  Later I tried the same 
procedure with PDF factory and it worked fine.

How do I make Adobe work with me on this?
