Re: NBWin v8 question

Hello,
In my case it is a matter of personal preference. I guess I prefer what seems to be a blank slate as it represents endless possibilities to me. In any case, yes, the untitled document disappears when you open up another document and, as with Mr. Ambos, I've learned to live with it. A moment of growth in my life, it seems; NBWin v8's limitations are not my own. Fortunately, my limitations have never been NBWin's. Lucky for all of us, I suppose...

I don't quite understand the problem.  If you open up another document (either by creating a new file or opening up an already-existing file) then that "untitled" document disappears.  So I don't see why one would need to have no document opened.

I complained about this in (IIRC) v.6 and was told by the list to learn to
live with it. You could write a script to abandon the automatic document,
but that's about the best you could do.

Subject: NBWin v8 question

Hello,
I've noticed that v8 always wants to have an "untitled" document open
regardless of my wishes. Have any of the folks working with v8 learned to
force it to have no documents opened, untitled or otherwise? This includes
having it start with a blank (empty, no document) screen.
Thanks.
Joseph
