I'm trying to make an index for the new edition of the Customization
and Programming Guide, and I'm getting pretty frustrated.
What I'm trying to do most often is mark terms, e.g., 'keyboard
table' (rather than 'keyboard' or 'table'). I have the Index: Mark
dialog open. I highlighting a term using the mouse - but then I have
to move the mouse to the dialog and click on 'Mark' or 'add to auto=mark file'.
Even to use the shortcuts in the dialog (Alt M for Mark, etc.) means
clicking on the dialog, so I might as well click on 'Mark' while I'm at it.
I'm happy to use the mouse for highlighting, but clicking with it
soon makes my mousing hand sore and on the verge of repetitive strain syndrome.
Is there any way of marking a file for indexing without clicking?
